Ainsky Technologies AS (Part of the Synega group) («we» or «us») is committed to safeguarding personal data (i.e. data relating to an identified or identifiable individual, either on its own or together with other information). This Privacy Policy describes why and how any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us will be used by us. We may use personal data provided to us for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise stated at the point of collection.

Data Controller

For the purposes of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, («GDPR»), and any applicable national implementing laws, regulations, and secondary legislation relating to the processing of personal data (together «Data Protection Law»), the data controller is Ainsky Technologies AS of Tordenskioldsgate 6, 0160 Oslo, Norway.

Grounds for using your personal information

We collect and use the personal data described below in order to provide you with access to our Site and services in a reliable and secure manner. We rely on the following legal grounds to process your personal information, namely:

  1. Consent we may need your consent to use your personal information. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us (see above).
  2. Performance of a contract – we may need to collect and use your personal information to enter into a contract with you or to perform our obligations under a contract with you.

Purposes and categories of personal data

As a consulting firm, we regularly receive personal data as part of our legitimate professional activities. Our policy is to collect only the personal data necessary for such purposes. We may collect your personal data:

  1. If you are a current employee. For information on why and how personal data is collected and processed by us, existing employees should refer to our Data Protection Policy.
  2. If you are a business contact (such as client, potential client, supplier, potential supplier, actual or potential collaborator). We process your personal data such as name, email, phone, address, and other personal data you may provide directly to us, using a contact management software, in order to manage our business and deliver our services, provide advice and deliverables, invite you to specific events and communicate our insights on how to maximize effective use of our platform and services, as well as information on trends pertaining to remote working and cloud technologies.
  3. If you are a job/intern applicant. We process your personal data contained in the CVs we receive such as your email address, mobile phone/telephone, education, qualifications, and experience in order to assess your qualifications for a position within our company group and for the purpose of future recruitment opportunities.
  4. If you choose to subscribe to our e-newsletter. We may use your contact details in order to share our thinking and communicate through our e-newsletter but only if you have expressly agreed to receive such communications. You can always withdraw your consent by clicking «unsubscribe» when you receive the respective email or can contact us by email at [email protected].
  5. If you send an email to us. The message may contain your title, name, email address, and any additional information you may wish to include. We believe that we have a legitimate interest to continue to communicate with you on the matter at hand and on other related matters, as per above.
  6. If you are a visitor to our Sites: We do not collect any personal information about you that you do not freely provide by filling out one of our website forms. However we collect information with regard to your visits to our Sites and we may automatically collect the following information: technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type, and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our Site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number, information from other online accounts to which you have given us permission to collect data from within your settings or the privacy policies of these other online services. In this case, we will have informed you when we collected that data that it may be shared internally and combined with data collected on our Site.

Cookie Type: Google Analytics

Tokens

In the local / session storage we store tokens in order to access various sub-systems (Local Storage is a type of web storage different from cookies), those tokens are required for the functionality of the overall system.

We use the information held about you to provide our Site and services to you. In addition to this we may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:

  • To provide information to you relating to other products that may be of interest to you. Such additional information will only be provided where you have consented to receive such information.

  • Any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.
  • Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you, such as Google, Duo.
  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our Site and services.
  • Credit reference agencies for the purpose of assessing your credit score where this is a condition of us entering into a contract with you.

And under the following circumstance we may also disclose your personal information:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • If we or a member of our group of companies or substantially all of their assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by them about their customers will be one of the transferred assets.

Where we store your personal data
